NaNoWriMo Blog Kickoff
Hey kids! For those of you who don't know me, I'm known as Lusa by all my online friends. That nickname came about when I and some other amateur writers were being silly and generally unhelpful to a mutual friend seeking help for names for her fic. We all ended up editing our names for the day to silly Old English ones, mine being Clusate ("Oatbar"). Andi started calling me Lusa for short and it just stuck.
I work as a Shift Supervisor for Starbucks and I absolutely love my job. I am also very excited about coffee, but then, most Americans are. My favorite coffee that we offer is Arabian Mocha Sanani. It's an exotic coffee with wine and cocoa tastes to it. A little more expensive, but so worth it! My Starbucks on Wade Hampton is welcoming those working on their NaNo projects, so feel free to come over and hog a table for hours at a time.
Speaking of NaNoWriMo, this blog was created especially for National Novel Writing Month! The title of the novel I currently plan to write is called The Significance of Wings. It's the story of a janitor who stumbles into a world where fairies exist. I haven't decided on a main conflict yet, but there's a good bit of subplot I have in mind. I may just have to wing it and hope it all comes out alright, lol. Here I'll post what I write every day. Feel free to laugh, cry, critique, or just point fingers and mock. What's an experience like this if you can't share it?
